The construction process began with large and dense research of the theme, followed by ideation, selection and finally prototyping to reach at the final product, the board game: Presidente da República das Bananas (President of the Republic of Bananas).

Our research has shown that the fake news are mainly used in politics themes. Fake news works because nobody knows they're fake, for most of us they're only news.

McGuire's Inoculation Theory states that to prevent persuasion, it's necessary to strengthen pre-existing attitudes, beliefs, and opinions. To inoculate is essentially to “vaccinate”. It's preparing the body to defend itself in case of an attack. We hope that they can make the receivers actively defensive and allow them to make arguments in favor of their pre-existing thoughts. The more active the receivers becomes, the more they'll question, and reinforce criticality in defense of their ideals.
